A little over a mile from the A1 near Alnwick, on a tranquil family-owned farm, sits three glamping pods looking over the beautiful Northumberland countryside towards the stunning coastline of Low-Newton-By-The-Sea. On a clear day Dunstanburgh Castle can be seen while sitting on the patio. This retreat provides peace and quiet amidst Northumberland's popular attractions.
This is a real gem with the proximity to the A1 making it really easy to reach but equally it feels like your in the depths of the Northumberland countryside!

We recently visited Fern on behalf of Paws & Stay to inspect it's level of dog-friendliness and it didn't disappoint!
The pod features a wood-fired hot tub, enclosed outdoor space, fully equipped kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Comfortable sleeping arrangements with a spacious king size bed and modern bathroom for convenience.
Along with complimentary WiFi ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay, while parking just outside your allocated pod adds convenience.

There was plenty of adventuring to be had with the Northumberland coast and countryside right on the doorstep and after an afternoon pottering about Alnwick we returned to the farm to enjoy the outside space at our pod.
Chester and Crumble loved the enclosed garden and zoomies commenced from the moment we arrived, they were even more excited than usual as our garden at home has been out of action due to our fence becoming a victim to the late January storm. It's due to be repaired soon but not soon enough for the dogs!
The weather wasn't the best and we originally had planned to head into Bamburgh and visit the new Walled garden cafe but decided to head to Dunstanburgh castle which we parked in Craster and walked the 1.3 mile coastal route to the castle. The grounds are actually owned by English Heritage and the inside of the castle was closed this week but the views were worth it!
We then headed into Alnwick for a little mooch around the town and then headed back to the Pod for some dinner!
Fern is bookable via Paws & Stay
Thanks for reading
