Tested: Furrish Fresh 'n' pup

This gentle but effective dry shampoo is packed with conditioning agents to clean, soften and condition the coat whilst removing static and preventing knots. Enriched with avocado and aloe vera to leave the skin and coat healthy, shiny and cuddle ready. With a soft linen aroma. We love using dry shampoos in between baths to keeps the pups fresh and clean but without damaging their natural oils by over bathing.

Most of you know up last year Chester couldn’t stand Baths! Although he gets a bath once a month he still does get a bit smelly/muddy! (Very occasionally as Chester would claim) We have already tried numerous waterless shampoos but most left a sticky residue, don't have a nice smell or don’t leave his coat as shiny/leave him with dandruff.

Overall I would rate Fresh 'n' Pup - 9/10

9/10 – For ease of use – It isn't very watery which is a plus! The pumper is easy to use and the foam doesn't come out to fast. The only downside i would say is the size of the bottle. For a dog like Crumble who gets regularly bathed then the small bottle is perfect for those in-between freshen ups. But if your using it as a wash for a dog who hates water the bottle is way too small. Thankfully now I can bath Chester is a good size for him too but going back 2 years ago we'd have used the whole bottle in one go

10/10 – For stickiness – Lot’s of other brands we’ve tried have always dried sticky, which has meant that i’ve had to fight and wipe Chester down with water. Hence my scepticism about trying another. But this really isn’t sticky in fact, there is no residue at all. It sinks in the muck comes out and it like he's just had a bath.

10/10 – For smell – I absolutely adore the linen smell it's another one of my favourite smells! I like that it isn’t too feminine for the boys but not masculine either. And it definitely takes the wet dog smell away!

8/10 – For drying – Chester’s has a thick coat so I alway expect drying to take a while. This surprisingly didn't take that long to dry. Once applied it gives you enough time to rub into muck and for the foam to turn a brown colour but once you wipe it away with a towel the fur is almost already dry.
